In August of last year, I tried out for DiamondZone, thinking it was just another travel ball program. However, I was mistaken.
I had chosen DiamondZone because I was looking for new opportunities and challenges. This decision has definitely been life changing.
I’ll never forget my first encounter with Coach Brett. He made me feel welcomed and wanted on the team. You could tell he genuinely cares about any player that crosses his path. He wants to see success out of every athlete he works with, as do the other coaches and trainers at DiamondZone. He’s been extremely encouraging to me during my time here.
I’ve learned so much about the game of softball from the coaches here, and my fundamentals have greatly improved.
I started pitching with Coach Bri at the end of August last year, with a total lack of skill and confidence in the position. But Bri has helped me in both areas, and now I’m a totally different player than I was a year ago. Thanks to her, I’ve had many new doors open that would not have been possible without her coaching.
Just from the first year of training and playing here, I am very excited for the future. Joining DiamondZone was one of the most impactful decisions I’ve ever made, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
