In the fall I went to watch my friends play a baseball game for DiamondZone.
After the game me and my dad got to talk to Coach Brett. Coach Brett invited me to come and practice with the team to see if I enjoyed it. A few days later I joined their practice and I really enjoyed it. After practice Coach Brett said that I could play for the white or teal team depending on who needed a player. This was great because it let me play baseball and play travel hockey.
Since coming to DiamondZone, I have really improved in many areas. Coach JT has helped me improve on my swing. Coach Brett has helped me become a better catcher. He has really helped me get better at blocking and receiving. Recently I have started pitching lessons with Coach Nick. I continue to improve with each lesson.
All of the coaches at DiamondZone make it fun while also pushing us to be better. I enjoy how Coach Brett involves the older players in teaching us the right way to do stuff. Ayanna Fernandez is always willing to help me improve my skills as a catcher.
I am glad that I decided to become a part of DiamondZone.
