Last year, I decided that I wanted to play softball more often. I loved playing and wanted to become an even better player. I went to the tryouts for DiamondZone and loved it right away. Coach Brett was the first coach that I met. He was welcoming and funny. He took his time with each player, giving them tips on how to improve their skills.
Playing for DiamondZone has helped me improve my pitching, hitting and fielding. I have learned a lot about softball since joining the team. At practices I’ve learned new skills to help me become a better softball player. I have more confidence on the mound, in the field and when I’m up at bat. I enjoy playing with my teammates. I’ve made some great friendships. We have a lot of fun together and work hard as a team.
I want to thank Coach Jess for working with me on my pitching. I’ve learned some different drills and exercises to improve the mechanics of my pitching. She has helped me gain accuracy and speed. She pushes me to do better and boosts my confidence. I can’t thank her enough for believing in me and always pushing me to do better.
I would also like to thank Coach Payton, Coach Tea and Coach Jeff for being the Best Coaches! They are all so positive and helpful. They believe in us as a team. They teach us how to improve while making it fun. They motivate me to be the best I can and encourage me to always push harder. They give us constructive criticism to help us improve. They care about us and want to help us get better. Their guidance has allowed me to become stronger and become a better player.
It is an honor to have been chosen as Player of the Quarter for DiamondZone! I can’t imagine playing anywhere else! I want my Coaches and Teammates to know how much I appreciate them.
