I have grown considerably since joining DZ, both as a baseball player and in my confidence. Tim and Brett’s experience and reputation were the key reasons I came to the program.
I started off working with Brett on my hitting, and I improved tremendously during my Little League career. Coach Tim, Coach Pete, and Coach Gouin all helped me tremendously. They believed in me and always gave me advice on how to be better.
My favorite moment was when our team went to Saratoga to play in a tournament. We were in the quarterfinals, and Coach Tim put me in to pitch in the 6th inning, bases loaded, tie game. I got out of the inning with the score still tied, and came up to bat the next inning. I ended up hitting a double to drive in the winning run!
Coach Tim’s confidence in me has made me have confidence in myself. This year I have also had the pleasure of working on my pitching with Coach Nick and can’t wait to use all that he taught me this season!
