"At a crucial time, transitioning to a different town and school, choosing DiamondZone was the best decision I've made physically and mentally."

My journey with baseball began at a very young age – hitting t-balls with my grandfather outside. Anything with a ball and field, I was there… Soccer, basketball, lacrosse, etc. I was always an athletic child, but I was drawn to baseball the most. At seven years old, I started training with my town team, the Cheshire Reds, until I was 12. Upon the passing of my grandfather, I had to transition to Branford so my family could take care of my ill grandmother.

Having had the positive experience I had training for this sport all of my life, I wanted to make sure I could transition to a team that was welcoming. Also someone who treated my ability professionally and seriously, but also understanding of who I am as a person. This led me to reach out to the DiamondZone for some assistance, which is where I met Brett. Immediately my comfort level with Brett was extremely high and led us into making our next decision.

In making the decision to play for DiamondZone this has increased my skill level and made me look at baseball in a different perspective. The coaches, especially Coach JT, keeps a fun, engaging environment, but at the same time seriously encourages me to grow in order to reach my full potential. Not only have my fundamentals of baseball increased, but my overall personal growth has tremendously changed.

At a crucial time, transitioning to a different town and school, choosing DiamondZone was the best decision I’ve made physically and mentally.
