Player Spotlight- Luca Iuliano #78
I have played for DiamondZone since I was 7 years old. I chose DiamondZone and continue to choose DiamondZone because the coaches are deeply committed to fostering growth in every player. They provide personalized guidance to help each athlete improve their skills while emphasizing teamwork.
My experience with other organizations, the primary focus was solely on winning, often at the expense of player development. There was little focus on helping the athletes improve their skills and reach their full protentional. However, at DiamondZone, the approach is very different. The focus is on each players growth, physically and mentally to help them become a well-rounded athlete. The commitment to the individual improvement rather then just chasing victories is why I would choose DiamondZone over any other organization.
The most rewarding part of my DiamondZone experience was our team’s growth. After a tough season, we worked hard, made changes and focused on our weaknesses. With these changes we were able to win it all in a tournament and our division. The journey from struggle to success was truly the highlight.
My personal and athletic growth has significantly advanced while working with Diamond Zone. I shifted from a mindset of ‘I can’t do that’ to ‘I can do that and more’, thanks to the support and guidance I received. I not only surpassed the goals that I set by myself and my coaches, but I’ve also set new, higher ones as well.
During my time at DiamondZone, I’ve primarily worked with Coach Brett and Coach Griff. Coach Brett taught me that every loss is an opportunity to learn and grow. He knows exactly what to adjust to elevate each players performance. Coach Griff has continually pushed me to set higher goals and reach them, all while ensuring that I have fun and enjoy my time on the field.
During my time at DiamondZone, I’ve grown as an individual, been supported by an incredible coaching staff and made some of my best friends.
