Two years ago, I joined Diamond Zone Baseball in North Haven, and it totally changed my perspective.
I’d played with other AAU teams before and always gave it my all, always had great seasons, and trained hard. Something always felt missing from the organization, but I never really knew what.
Walking into DZ for tryouts, I expected the usual routine: pitch, hit, catch, get evaluated, wait for a call. But DZ was different. The coaches chatted with me and my dad, watched me play, and immediately offered me a spot. I could tell they genuinely wanted to help me grow. My family’s continuous support along with my faith keeps me grounded and gives me the strength to keep pushing forward.
I truly believe my faith brought me to DiamondZone and will keep guiding me on this journey. I’m grateful every day for the opportunities I’ve been given.
