Being at Diamond Zone has changed my life for the better, and I can’t imagine playing on any other team.
I used to play on another travel team for 5 years and I didn’t see myself improving one bit. My swing stayed the same, my production never improved, and overall I never felt truly happy being on the team.
In the summer of 2018, I was cut from the team and I needed find a new one. I wanted to find a team that gets along and has a coach that honestly cares about their players and improving their skills.
At my first day of tryouts I was very nervous and didn’t know a single person there, but after about 20 minutes I was having fun and getting to know everyone. Once I officially joined the team, I met some of my best friends that I can’t even imagine myself living without.
Within a year or so, my swing improved exponentially, and I was able to become the best player I could be. Not only did my skills improve, but the coaching staff is the most caring and inviting I’ve ever met. With my past experiences, I’ve never had a coach that cared so much about bettering my skills and for me as a person until I played for DiamondZone.
Brett in particular has helped me grow and learn so much. The constant pointers and hitting lessons have been key factors that go into me being a better player than I was 2 years ago. Not only has he put in time to help with my skills, but I feel like him and every other coach at DZ, has helped me understand important life skills and seeing the potential that I really have.
All in all, I feel that DiamondZone is the best environment for me and since being here, I don’t think I would be as skilled of a player, or as good of a person, that I am today.
